Father's Day in Door County

We had a wonderful Father's Day today. It started way too early but the kids were excited to give Jason his presents. The kids and I made Jason some special art with their hand prints that had a baseball theme. Since he is not nearly as sentimental as I am, that gift also came with a new baseball game for the Wii (much more up his alley than hand print art!).

After presents, we decided to spend the day in Door County. We grabbed the kids swim stuff and packed into the van. It was a beautiful, hot, sunny day. They loved playing at the the beach and swimming in the water.


C was a little hesitant about the water and sand but she got used to it. M was also a little scared of the fish that might be lurking and was hesitant to go out in the water but A was an awesome big brother and helped them out.




Little W just chilled out in the stroller staying nice and cool in the shade. She is such a trooper. We did not hear a single complaint out of her as her schedule was totally disrupted. She just napped and smiled all day.



After swimming, we were ready for ice cream. A quick change and a little walk through Fish Creek took us to the ice cream shop! Everyone enjoyed their ice cream before we headed home. YUM!
